Reckless Breaking Academy 

Beginner Course:

This course is perfect for people who are either brand new to breaking or have already got some experience and want to continue to build and improve their skills.

 

Learn to : 

- Utilise new, fresh and exciting ways to get down

- Build strength and stamina in your footwork 

 - Improve your understanding of musicality

- Structure sets so you are confident dancing in cyphers, battles and even auditions 

- start working on/improve your technique in power moves 

 

Dont worry if you feel like you are a complete beginner or if you feel like you haven't danced in a while. If you want to improve your breaking then I can help you. I will be giving different options on all exercises and challenges so that everyone who attends feels they are being supported in their journey as well as being challenged. Reckless Breaking Academy is a safe space where you can build your confidence and have fun while learning to break.

 

Intermediate/Advanced Course:

Intermediate/Advanced Prerequisites

Top Rock – You should be able to freestyle using basic steps and dance on beat.

Footwork – A solid grasp of fundamental footwork, including steps like the 6-step, 3-step, 2-step (baby swipes), and CCs, with the ability to link them together.

Power Moves – Backspins, windmills, and swipes (or at least be actively training them).

Freezes – Baby freeze, shoulder freeze, and headstand.

For Intermediate/Advanced, the focus will be on increasing the difficulty of moves, introducing concepts to help you create your own content, building strong rounds, and improving the form and execution of your moves. A good understanding of the foundations is essential.

 

You're always welcome to try the Intermediate/Advanced level and move down to Beginners if it feels too challenging. Alternatively, you can sign up for both levels at a reduced rate.
